Removing Toyota Highlander Door Panel

My 2011 toyota highlander s 3 doors will not unlock the passenger and two rear doors.

Not even the power button on the door panel will unlock the passenger doors. Remove the phillips screw located underneath. Remove the one front door trim panel capped screws from the door pull handle. Firmly pry out the bottom edge of the door panel to disengage the pop rivet friction fasteners.

Pry around the edge of the trim surrounding the door release with a panel tool to loosen and remove the trim ring. Step 2 pry open a screw cover in the bottom of the door pull up on the armrest. I removed mine to replace the door lock actuator but you may also need to work on. Remove the main body electronic control unit ecu and locate terminals 1 and 3 on the fuse box itself.

Continue pulling out the pop rivets at the bottom and both sides of the door panel.
