Press your putty ball against the stubborn wall attached poster putty. Hold a putty knife or razor blade at a low angle to the wall and scrape the excess putty away from the wall. Insert a flat dull blade between the foam and the wall. Pull off putty that comes off easily.

Scrape the poster putty gently with your putty knife. Blu tack is a brand name and there are similar products called tack. To get off any small pieces still on the wall rub a fresh piece of putty over the stragglers in a gentle circular motion. To avoid marks when you re taking down a poster use your fingernail to get right under the putty and ease it out and away from the wall so that it comes away still attached to the poster.

Removing blu tack from a wall is surprisingly easy. A butter knife plastic spatula or credit card works well and doesn t damage the wall. Put on a dust. Roll your poster putty into a ball.
