Remove any debris from the crack and then use tile cleaner or dish detergent to remove any dust and grease. To remove the cracked tile you first need to get rid of the grout surrounding it. However usually the mortar is keeping the tile from coming off the wall. A wide blade putty knife is helpful in prying the tiles loose.
