Remove Door Panel Saturn Ion

There are clips holding the door panel around the edges.

Do this repeatedly and then loosen and remove the arm rest. Had a lot of grief with my ion and only have 32 000 miles on it. Removing the door panel 0 59 pry off the trim piece at the front top corner of the door panel with a flat blade screwdriver. Pull outward from both sides of the clip until it comes loose.

To remove the clips use a small screwdriver to feel for them then use another one to pull the panel on the other side. Step 1 lift the panel cover off the top of the screws. Remove the two phillips head screws inside the door pull. Use a thin blade knife to gain access to the screws that hold the panel in place. I removed the 3 screws on the bottom the screw inside the grab handle the screw beneath the upper triangular trim piece and all the trim panel fasteners along the edges of the panel.
