Lift the cover of the window and door lock with a screwdriver and gently pry it off.

Starting at the door bottom use the j 38778 to disengage the retainers from the door trim panel. Use a pair of pliers to pull the door latch off of the panel. Pull the panel away from the car door slowly starting from the bottom of the panel. Check out the diagrams below.
